Discover Narino
Where Coffee Magic Happens
Nariño, a province in southwestern Colombia bordering Ecuador, is a land of extremes and home to the heart of Colombian coffee. Towering elevations and cooler temperatures in Nariño allow coffee beans to mature slowly, resulting in super tasty coffee with maximum sweetness. With an annual average of 84 inches of precipitation, the region provides ample nourishment for the thriving coffee plants. Additionally, the volcanic soil, rich in nutrients such as potassium, calcium, and boron, combined with the altitude and climate, creates a recipe for a nuanced, complex brew, making Nariño a mecca for coffee enthusiasts seeking an exceptional coffee experience.
The Ceremonial Grade Process
Handpicking
The cultivation of Pink Bourbon requires sustainable and organic farming techniques to ensure the purity and quality of the coffee beans. The cherries are grown with meticulous care, hand-picked at their peak for optimal flavor to ensure the coffee's superior quality.
The cultivation process involves sustainable farming practices, including the use of shade trees to protect the coffee plants from direct sunlight and the implementation of organic farming techniques to ensure the purity and quality of the coffee beans. The ripe cherries are meticulously harvested at their peak of maturity to capture the optimal balance of flavors and aromas, a crucial step in maintaining the coffee's superior quality.
Processing
The coffee cherries undergo a traditional washing process and are then placed on raised beds where they dry to a stable level. Next step is 3rd party lab testing to ensure the beans are ultra-clean and are then shipped off to our roaster in the US.

Roasting & Mineralization
Once at the roaster they are again checked for any defects from shipping and roasted to specification. The final step before they are packaged is remineralization where we wrap the beans in ancient plants, Fulvic and Humic.
