How long does it take for an order to be shipped?
We know you're excited to receive your delicious Danger Coffee, and we're just as eager to get it to you! Our typical shipping timeframe is 1-3 business days from the moment your order is placed. We roast your coffee to order, so when your coffee arrives to you it should be within 1-7 days from roasting. Coffee is best brewed after it has had time to degas (5-7 days off roast). The aroma will be at its peak intensity and freshness within the first month after roasting. So, if you are planning on signing up for a subscription, it's best to order for a month's supply at a maximum if you are looking to get the absolute best out of your beans.
Once your order is in the hands of the postal carrier, we do not have any control over how quickly the package is delivered. keep in mind that this timeframe can sometimes vary depending on the volume of orders we're handling. If there are any unexpected delays, we'll be sure to keep you updated.

At Danger Coffee, we prioritize the quality and safety of our coffee. One issue in the coffee industry that we take seriously is the presence of mold in coffee. Let's talk about why it's harmful.
Why is mold in coffee dangerous? Mold in coffee can produce mycotoxins - harmful compounds that can lead to health problems. Consuming coffee with mold can potentially cause symptoms like headaches, nausea, and other digestive issues. In rare cases, it could lead to more severe health complications.
How does Danger Coffee prevent and test against mold? We use stringent quality control measures to ensure our coffee is mold-free. We start by buying Specialty Association Coffee (SCA) which by default, is mold free. We then use a 3rd party lab to test each batch of coffee for mycotoxins and abide by the EU standards which has the strictest possible standards. We do not process or purchase any coffee which has any trace of mycotoxins present. Rest assured, with Danger Coffee, you're choosing a product that values your health. What does remineralization mean for coffee?

What does Specialty Grade mean?
Specialty grade coffee is coffee that meets both the physical and sensorial standards determined by the Specialty Coffee Association. It is guaranteed mold free. Simply stated, it means a coffee that is fresh crop, free of both defective beans and flavor. Specialty grade coffee represents a very small percent (about 5%) of the world's coffee. Beyond quality standards, the specialty industry is wholly committed to creating a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive reality for all players in the value chain, especially those who are least represented, the world's coffee farmers.
What does the expiration date mean?
Danger Coffee is considered fresh for up to 6 months post the roasted date. This does not mean it expires after 6 months, it is just not as aromatic or fresh tasting. We recommend storing your coffee in an airtight container and not in the fridge or freezer, moisture is not your friend with coffee.

How do I drink Danger Coffee?
Danger Coffee is delicious black or however you normally take your coffee. We recommend Dave's original recipe with grass-fed butter and MCT oil. Why not make it Dangerously good...
Can I make Danger Cold Brew?
Absolutely! The minerals bind more effectively at higher temperatures but they work at body temperatures as well. You get more bio active anti-aging ingredients by using hot water versus cold but if you love cold brew, Danger will make the cleanest cold brew humanly possible!
Is Danger Coffee organic?
Danger Coffee starts with Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) grade beans, sourced directly from small estate farms in Central America. Every batch goes through third-party lab testing, screened for mold, impurities, and 500+ pesticides, so you know exactly what's in your cup.
No organic certification yet. But here's what that label often misses: certification alone doesn't guarantee a clean, high-quality bean. Danger Coffee goes further. The farmers at these small estates use traditional growing practices that prioritize crop quality and environmental care. And the lab testing speaks for itself.
